Laura Burkhart
- A poet and fiction and non-fiction writer, Laura's work has
been published in various Canadian literary journals and anthologies
and
broadcast on CBC radio. Her first collection of poetry, Venus Rising, is
forthcoming from Hagios Press in the fall of 2004. Her work as a
psychotherapist, adult educator and advisor on gender relations in
international development has taken her to Asia, the Middle East, South
America and the United States. She was born in Ontario, grew up in
Alberta
and lived in Saskatchewan for over thirty years. She currently lives
and works in
Saskatchewan and Hawai'i.
