Margo Button was born in St.Andrew, N.B. She holds an honours
B.A. from the University of Toronto in French, Spanish and History,
a Masters in French from the University of British Columbia and
a teaching certificate from the University of London, England.
She taught high school for twenty years in Canada, and in international
schools in Lebanon, Hong Kong and Chile. She now lives in Nanoose
Bay, B.C. Her first book was made into a stage performance by
the same name by Welcome Wood Productions in Kingston, Ontario
in May 1998.
