Charmaine Cadeau was born in Toronto in 1977. She attended Trent University, majoring in English Literature and History. After achieving her concurrent teaching degree at Queen’s, she moved to Fredericton where she completed the M.A. program in Creative Writing at the University of New Brunswick. She is currently a doctoral student at the University at Albany in New York where she continues to write poetry.
