Jesse Patrick Ferguson was born in Cornwall, Ontario. He is now finishing the Masters program in English Literature at the University of Ottawa, and in the fall of 2006 will begin work on a PhD. He has contributed to Canadian, American and UK publications such as: QWERTY, Stride Magazine, Spire, TransVerse, Magazine Shiver, Matrix Magazine, The Dalhousie Review and Word Riot, with works forthcoming in The Nashwaak Review and dANDelion. He is on the editorial boards of the Ottawa literary journals Yawp and Bywords. In May 2006, he taught a creative writing mini-course at the University of Ottawa, in collaboration with local highschools.
