Gary Geddes

Gary Geddes retired from Concordia in 1998 to move back to the West coast, where he will have a short appointment as distinguished professor of Canadian culture at Western Washington University in Bellingham, and then divide his time between freelance writing and being a floating writer-in-residence His curiosity and political concerns have taken him to many countries, including Chile, Nicaragua, Indonesia, the Philippines, China, Israel, Palestine, and Japan. His poems have been translated into French, Spanish, and Chinese, and broadcast on CBC and BBC radio.
