Robert Gibbs

Robert Gibbs was born in Saint John, New Brunswick, on February 3, 1930. He has been teaching English at the University of New Brunswick since 1963. He has been editor and poetry editor of The Fiddlehead. He has also been associated with the Maritime Writer's Workshop since its beginning in 1976, and has been the Director of the Creative Writing Graduate Programme at the University of New Brunswick. He is now Professor Emeritus of the University of New Brunswick.
