Ethel Harris
Ethel Harris was born in Toronto in 1930. She studied political science and economics
at the University of Toronto, then married and moved to London, Ontario, where
she completed an M.A. in these subjects in 1952. She also holds an M.A. in English
language and Literature from York University. Her poetry has appeared in various
literary magazines. She now spends most of her time painting, a passion she discovered
recently. She has been painting and has had two shows at the Rebecca Gallery in
Toronto in 1997 and 1998.
