Doris Hillis

Doris Hillis was born at Epsom, Surrey, England. She was educated in England, came to Canada in 1955, and continued her studies at Canadian universities. She has taught at both the high school and university levels. Since 1960 she has lived south of Macklin, Saskatchewan. In 1967 she became involved in adult education through the Kerrobert Unit Board, and from 1975 to 1981 served as a trustee of Prairie West Community College. She and her husband also operated a grain-farm business for more than thirty years. They have recently retired and now live in Saskatoon.
