Bruce Hunter

Bruce Hunter was born in Calgary and grew up there. After graduating from high school in the early seventies, he lived for periods of time in Southern Ontario and on Gabriola Island, before moving to Toronto to complete his Honours B.F.A. in Film and Literature at York University. He currently lives in Stratford, Ontario. He is a professor of English at Seneca College in Toronto, and has taught Creative Writing at York University and the Banff School of Fine Arts. From 1981 to 1985 he was poetry editor and poetry reviews Editor for Cross-Canada Writers' Quarterly.
