Grade Levels: all

Fees: standard, half days only

Classroom Approach:
Hyland enjoys working with children, focusing on the joys of creating, using varios methods. Approaching younger groups, she likes to use rhyme and fairytale, transforming the words into images and action. Children interact, identify their favourite words, and together, in a sense of fun and discovery, a poem is formed, much like a jigsaw puzzle is constructed. With older groups, she will read from her own and/or other works, often utilizing a theme, either topical or by design.
