Bernice Lever

Bernice Lever was a Professor of English at Seneca College. She was founder and an editor of Waves 1972-1987, coordinated Richvale Writers for 30 years, was the1998-99 Writer in Residence for the Toronto branch of the Canadian Authors' Association and is currently their national Grievance Chair. She has read on five continents, given workshops and published hundreds of prose pieces: literary and academic, but enjoys humour the most. In 1993-1995 she was the second Vice President and Treasurer of the League of Canadian Poets. "Poetry is the food of the soul.Ó
