Eugene McNamara

Eugene McNamara was born in Oak Park, Illinois, attended Northwestern University where he received his Ph.D. and emigrated to Canada in 1959. He taught American literature and Creative Writing at the University of Windsor where he is now Professor Emeritus. He founded and edited the University of Windsor Review from 1965 to 1987. He is a Canadian citizen. He and his wife, Margaret, live in Windsor, Ontario.

City of Windsor Mayor's Award for Excellence in the Literary Arts, 1998.
