Roger Moore

Roger Moore was born in Gower, Wales, and educated in England, France, Spain and Canada. His recent work in and on Mexico has led to new sources of exciting and dynamic imagery and structures. While experimenting with multimedia productions (voice, text, photos limited samples of which are available on his webpage), he has also published 3 new books of poetry (Sun and Moon - Poems from Oaxaca, Mexico, 2000; Though Lovers Be Lost, 2000; and Fundy Lines, 2002). Early versions of these books are also available on his webpage.

He is currently working on 2 new poetry manuscripts and a book of short stories. A dynamic presenter who makes a real and lasting impact, especially upon small audiences (up to 50/60 people, he says), he loves presenting his poetry viva voce. He lives and works in the Maritimes and travels and reads mainly in New Brunswick, from where, along with Mexico, he draws his imagery. His most recent venture into creativity is screenplay writing. He is hoping to produce and direct his first ten minute short film, based on one of his short stories, during the summer of 2003.
