Chris Pannell

Chris Pannell's poetry has appeared in various journals including The New Quarterly, The Fiddlehead, Lit, Lichen, the Carlton Arts Review, and Kairos. Based in Hamilton, Ontario, he has run the new writing workshop for the past 8 years and is part of the committee that runs the Lit Live Reading series on the first Sunday of the month. He keeps house with his wife and seven budgies and parrots. After years of struggle, he feels he is close to the top of the pecking order.

Awards
1997 Best Poetry Book award from the Hamilton and Region Arts Council for "Three Broadsheets of Poems: Fractures / Subluxations / Dislocations."
