Heather Pyrcz

Heather Pyrcz was born in B.C. and raised in Ottawa, Whitehorse and Churchill. She received a B.A., PDAD and M.Ed. from the University of Alberta, and an M.A. in English Literature from Acadia University. Her M.A. thesis (1991) explores the poetry and poetics of Phyllis Webb. She lives in Wolfville, Nova Scotia, with her husband and two children, teaching part time at Acadia. Her poems may also be heard on CBC radio and the audioguide of The National Gallery.
