Richard Sanger

Born in 1960, Richard Sanger grew up in Kenya, Connecticut, Toronto, and - mainly - Ottawa. After ten years in Europe, he returned to Toronto in 1987, where he now lives. His poems have appeared in many publications in Canada, Britain and the US, including Descant, The Globe and Mail, Poetry Review, South-West Review, and The Times Literary Supplement; his plays have been produced at Theatre Passe Muraille and elsewhere. He also writes criticism and teaches at the University of Toronto.
