John Steffler

John Steffler was born in Toronto in 1947, and grew up in a rural area near Thornhill, Ontario. He studied at the University of Toronto, and the University of Guelph. In 1975, he moved to Newfoundland and began teaching at Memorial University's Sir Wilfred Grenfell College in Corner Brook. He is currently writer-in-residence at Concordia University.
