Eva Tihanyi

Eva Tihanyi was born in Budapest, Hungary, in 1956 and came to Canada when she was six. She holds a B.A. (Honours) and M.A. from the University of Windsor, and a Communications Arts (Journalism) diploma from St. Clair College, Windsor. She served as Books in Canada's First Novels columnist from 1995-1999 and is a freelance contributor to The Toronto Star and The National Post. She lives in Welland, Ontario, where she is a Professor of English at Niagara College. She has published four collections of poetry and has recently completed a fifth, Somewhere Between Yes and No. (Author photo by Stephen Dominick, 2001)
