Anne F. Walker

Anne F. Walker's books of poetry include The Exit Show, Into the Peculiar Dark, Pregnant Poems, and Six Months Rent. She founded Redwood Coast Press, and edited the anthology of poetry and poetic prose bite to eat place with Andrea Adolph. After earning a BFA from York Universitys Creative Writing Program in Toronto, she worked briefly in film, subsequently designing a program in Urban Poetics at the University of California, Berkeley. Her poetry has been granted awards from the Canada Council, the Ontario Arts Council, the Ontario Film Development Corporation, and the bpNichol Memorial Fund. Twice her work won the University of California's Eisner award for literature. A Canadian/ American dual national, she divides her time between Berkeley and Toronto.
