Alfred Holden is a contributing editor with Taddle Creek. He was an editor and reporter with the Toronto Star for nearly thirty years. He contributed to the books Concrete Toronto and uTOpia: Towards a New Toronto. His Christmas, 2000, Taddle Creek essay, “The Streamlined Man,” was nominated for a National Magazine Award, and he was awarded a Heritage Toronto commendation for his work in Taddle Creek and elsewhere.
