| Aylad the innovative writers group run by Diana Diaz, is moving home from the Athens site at Geocities to http://www.publication.com. Aylad aims to help fiction writers and poets to get their work seen and to improve their work through discussion. Featured writers on the Aylad website at present are David Writer, who is having the first two chapters of his novel showcased there and Lisa Petty who is having a children's story showcased. Lisa recently won first prize in the Aylad satire poetry competition. Diana tells me that Aylad's has

Forward Press in Peterborough, UK, are now in the final few months of their Forward Press Top 100 1998 Winners competition.
Any poet published in any of these books is eligible to be elected for the top 100. There is a first prize of £3,000, 2 second prizes of £500, 4 third prizes of £250, 10 fourth prizes of £100 and 83 fifth prizes of £50!
