4 July 2014: The July issue of Ygdrasil is now availabe. 1 June 2014: The June Patrick White Memorial issue of Ygdrasil, edited by Marie Cliche Royer, is now available. 8 May 2014: The May issue of Ygdrasil is now available. 4 April 2014: The April issue of Ygdrasil featuring ra medland ~ Selected Poems and Art ~ is now available. 8 March 2014: The March issue of Ygdrasil is now available. 1 March: The staff of Ygdrasil send their deepest condolences to the family of Patrick White who passed away 1 March 2014. 4 February 2014: The February issue is now available featuring the Poetry of Alysia Waters. 8 January 2014: The Janaury issue is now available. With this issue we enter our 22nd year of publication. 1 December 2013: The December issue, featuring Selected Works of Ron Whitehead with Photographs by Jinn, is now available. 8 November 2013: The November 2013 issue is now available. We are also happy to announce that Patrick White has joined Ygdrasil as a Contributing Editor. 10 October 2013: The October 2013 issue, featuring New Poems and Paintings by Patrick White is now available. 8 September 2013: The September 2013 issue of Ygdrasil is now available. 28 August 2013: I am proud to announce that as of 2:10 am EST Ygdrasil's readership has reached the 40,000 mark. 5 August 2013:The August 2013 issue of Ygdrasil, featuring Medusa's Hairdresser by Maria Jacketti, is now available. 10 September 2011: As you can see, Ygdrasil has a new appearance. A new banner has been graciously created by Michael Parker and the site has been updated to bring it into accordance. All previous issues are now in the Previous Issues page and all special feature issues have been identified. Redundant pages have been removed and everything has been brought up to date. Ygdrasil's submission guidelines are such: Ascii text in the body of an email unless otherwise requested - special issues can be negotiated as to other formats. Currently I receive up to 200+ submissions a week, therefore I will no longer reply to each submission, but request that if your submission has not been published in the next three issues, please either resubmit or submit elsewhere. Klaus Gerken

Klaus Gerken, born Cuxhaven, Germany, 1949. Came to Canada age 9, 1958. First published work, Dynasty 1968. Since then over 200 titles, Poems, Plays and Novels. Many available on this site. Editor and Founder of Ygdrasil, A Journal of the Poetic Arts (1993). Residence: Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
Mois Benarroch

Mois Benarroch was born in 1959 in Tetuan/Morocco, between Tangier and Gibraltar. He grew up in a mixture of cultures and languages, Spanish being his mother tongue, attending a French school, hearing the Arabic of the streets and praying in Hebrew. In 1972 He emigrated to israel, and lives since then in Jerusalem. Published books in Hebrew: The Immigrant's Lament (poetry) 1994. The Coming Book (prose) 1997. The Bread And The Dream (poetry) 1998. His poems and prose have been published in numerous publications in Israeli literary magazines, and international magazines, recently in Ygdrasil, Perihelion, Miller's Pond, Revue Europe, Emotions, Xero, The Poet's Guild Quarterly, Poetry magazine. His works have been published in hebrew, spanish, french and english. He writes in Hebrew, Spanish and English. He is Ygdrasil's European editor, and has e-published a book in Ygdrasil titled 'Moben's Poems' in English. His first novel 'Benshawen' will be published in 1999. And a book of poems in Spanish will be published by Esquio in Spain.
