Departmental Standard Procurement Documents

This Web site contains standard procurement documents for Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) contracting officers to use when preparing legal documents such as contracts, standing offers and supply arrangements.

Since June 2004, PWGSC has been working to standardize its contracting documents through its "plain language" initiative. By developing standard procurement documents, the Department is helping to make the process more efficient by:

  • ensuring the language used in these documents is simpler and more consistent;
  • eliminating redundancies and contradictions; and
  • introducing a common look and feel for procurement documents.

PWGSC is in the process of drafting new templates and updating existing ones. For this reason, the information on the site is constantly evolving.
