The Finance Branch is made up of over 500 financial officers who contribute to sound financial management in their role as strategic partners in decision making throughout the Department. PWGSC is at the heart of the Government of Canada's operations, providing an array of common and central services to other departments and agencies. The numerous and diverse funding mechanisms provide for a stimulating and enriching work environment for our financial officers.

In order to provide Service Excellence, the Finance Branch has created several centres of expertise in financial management among our various Finance Branch Sectors.
