The ourlanguages.gc.ca on the go! mobile application: a useful tool at the Canada Summer Games

The Canada Summer Games are being held in Sherbrooke, Quebec, from August 2 to 17. The event will bring together thousands of athletes from all over Canada.

During the Games, Public Works and Government Services Canada’s (PWGSC) Translation Bureau will be helping the sport community to effectively communicate in both official languages through its ourlanguages.gc.ca on the go! mobile linguistic application. Accessible from all smartphones, the app will allow athletes, volunteers and spectators to find the right words in both English and French. The app can be easily accessed via a QR code that will be disseminated in various ways during the Games.
