  1. What is industry's reaction to Smart Procurement as an overall direction, including some recent initiatives, such as the Canadian Innovation Commercialization Program and the National Goods and Services Procurement Strategies?
  2. How can we do supplier engagement better:
    1. Early Engagement: At what points during the procurement process is engagement of greatest value to suppliers?
    2. Leveraging engagement activities: How can we increase their value to suppliers? Are there any barriers to suppliers in the current approach?
