Online Harmonized Training [excludes THS]

To All Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) Professional Services Methods of Supply Users.

In accordance with PWGSC's Professional Services National Procurement Strategy, all Professional Services Methods of Supply (MoSs) have been harmonized and their access centralized into one ePortal – the Centralized Professional Services System (CPSS). PWGSC has also adopted a single online harmonized training program for all MoSs. Therefore, it is important that the user community be trained to use the MoSs appropriately and consistently.

In order to achieve this, all new CPSS users must complete the following training:

Standing Offer

  • Procurement Basics for Professional Services (6901)
  • How to use PWGSC's Professional Services Standing Offers under Common Business rules (6902)

Supply Arrangement

  • Procurement Basics for Professional Services (6901)
  • How to use PWGSC's Professional Services Supply Arrangements under Common Business rules (6903)

If you do not have access to the CPSS ePortal, you will need to enroll following the instructions provided at the Enrolment Instructions - Clients page. Once the on-line CPSS Enrolment Form has been received by PWGSC, the Federal Department User will be contacted with instructions on how to complete the above courses, available at the SkillPort (www) training tool. It is estimated that the 6901 course will take approximately 15 - 20 minutes to complete, and the 6902 and the 6903 courses will take approximately 2 hours each to complete.

Upon completion of the training you must submit PDF copies of your Certificates to: TPSGC-SSPC.CPSS-PWGSC@tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca.

Access to CPSS will be granted upon receipt of your supervisor's approval and completion of the required training.

Notes:

  1. This online training does not apply to Temporary Help Services, known as THS On-Line.
  2. If you have already taken the required online training, you do not need to take it again, your profile will be revised to provide access to all MoS in the CPSS ePortal.
  3. Supply arrangement search access is conditional upon a Master Level User Agreement being in place between the enrollee's departmental and the Services and Technology Acquisition Management Sectors (STAMS).
