Real Property Service Delivery

Guided by a National Service Management Strategy which advocates that its employees manage the work rather than deliver it, Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) develops strategic real property contract mechanisms designed to leverage private sector capacity, agility and expertise.

PSPC has completed the procurement of Real Property-1: Property Management and Project Delivery Services (RP-1) contracts. The name of these new contracts better reflects the operating reality within government – one where leveraging the private sector is no longer deemed an "alternative", but rather the normal way of doing business. Real Property-1 also opens the door to the possible development of additional service delivery contracts, as needs dictate.
