Statement from Minister of Public Services and Procurement Carla Qualtrough on Canada Post

GATINEAU, Quebec, September 8, 2017

“As Minister responsible for Canada Post Corporation, I have accepted Ms. Siân Matthews' resignation from the position of Chairperson of the Board of Directors, effective September 15, 2017.‎ Ms. Matthews was appointed to the Board of Directors in 2007 and as Chairperson in 2014. I thank Siân for her work as Chairperson of the Board of Directors. A process will be initiated shortly to fill this vacancy.”
