Library and Archives Canada strives to preserve, promote and facilitate access to a vast and rich collection of resources created by or about Aboriginal peoples in Canada.

At Library and Archives Canada, you will find published and non-published works from private and government sources. These materials include, rare dictionaries and grammar books in Aboriginal languages, Northwest Half-Breed Scrip Commission papers, Treaty and census records, genealogical resources, art, photographic and cartographic records, and audio-visual and sound recordings.
