You can use the categories (e.g., Type of information or Subject) to narrow your search. Place your mouse over the text to see what the category includes.

3. Use both the Search box and "Search by category" together (1 and 2)
1. If you find too many results:
Type a term in the search box, then limit the results by subject.
Step 1: Type "plane" in the search box and click the Search button.
Step 2: Select the Subject button found under "Search by category" and select Travel and tourism.
2. If you are unsure of what you are looking for, or don't know the terminology:
Choose a Subject first, then finetune using the search box.
Example: Find information on "performing arts"
Step 1: Select the Subject button, then select Culture and leisure.
Step 2: In the search box type in the terms "performing arts" and click the Search button.
3. If you know what you're looking for:
Limit your search further by combining multiple search terms in the Search box and selecting categories under "Search by category".
Example: Find free Data tables on "income of women"
Step 1: Type the search term "income" in the search box and click the Search button.
Step 2: Then select free under Price.
Step 3: Then select Data tables under Type of information.
Step 4: You can continue to refine the search by adding another term in the search box, "women".
