Nicola Morgan

Nicola Morgan est née à Victoria. Elle a grandi et est allé à l'école à Victoria et à Shawnigan Lake, C.-B. Enfant, elle aimait lire, peindre et dessiner. Elle a étudié au Emily Carr College of Art à Vancouver. Elle est maintenant auteure, illustratrice et artiste-peintre. La parution de son premier livre, The Great B.C. Alphabet Book (1985), fut suivie par celle de Pride of Lions (1987), Temper, Temper (1988), Louis and the Night Sky (1991), et Once in a Blue Moon (1992). Elle remporta les prix suivants: Images and Objects Painting Award (1984), Choice Selection of Children's Book Council (1984), Sheila Egoff Children's Book Award, B.C. Book Prizes (1988).
