Camilla Chameleon is a little girl with a big secret. She can blend in perfectly with her surroundings — that is, camouflage herself! This talent comes in handy when she has to go to the doctor's office, or when Auntie Dicky comes to visit, or when her mother makes liver, onions and fried cabbage for supper. At school, her friends admire her hide-and-seek skills, which particularly come in handy when the teacher asks for a volunteer to clean the hamster cage.

One day, however, her secret is exposed and Camilla finds herself in the limelight, which she realizes is not so bad after all. Colleen Sydor's whimsical and humorous tale is wonderfully complemented by Pascale Constantin's bold illustrations.
