How do you bring together two generations that are so distant and incompatible? All it takes is a snowstorm to force Thomas, the so-called lazy teenager, to play hooky and spend the day with his elderly neighbour, the notorious « windbag. » After several misunderstandings, the two opposites let go of their misperceptions and prejudices, and manage to come to terms with each other.
Their differences are treated with humour, often in the form of entertaining interior monologues. In the interests of equity, the author has the characters take turns in addressing each other. Speech bubbles, as used in comic strips, enliven this very amusing tale.
