Article contributions are always welcome and should be forwarded to the editor. If you wish to advertise or sell items through the Canadian Rockhound, please use our fee-based advertising services.

    You may submit your website address to the Canadian Rockhound for consideration. Please note, however, that we cannot guarantee a link to your website. The Canadian Rockhound reserves the right to select those websites it feels will be of importance or value to collectors. We will not list websites that are poorly designed, largely incomplete, or offer content that is of little educational use.

    Dealers and suppliers cannot be listed in the web links section. If you want to promote your business through the Canadian Rockhound, please refer to our Advertising Services for Dealers and Wholesalers.

    You don't need to. The Canadian Rockhound is a free online magazine that can be viewed by anyone.

    Do you publish a printed edition?
    Sorry, no printed edition exists. We currently do not have the time or resources available to produce a printed edition.

    How do I reprint an article?

    Where can I find information for a school project?
    The Junior Rockhound magazine has information on rocks, minerals, and selected topics in geology. However, we strongly recommend you visit the library. Often, the library will carry the appropriate books you need to complete a school assignent or project. You can also visit a university or college library.
