OVER THE NET

There they were over the net
spiking the ball
ready to give a set
then it hit the wall

they fell on their knee pads
hoping to win
upsetting their moms and dads
they felt like they just did a sin

now they were down one
they thought they were lost
and they thought playing was no fun
They'd put an end to the game cost

the coach hollering
for they had lost the game
and the opponents were hollering,
for they had pride for their name.
