Alone
Alone.
The man sits.
He sees no one, but he is not blind.
He
hears no one, but he is not deaf.
They are around him, but he doesn't
notice.
All he knows, is that he is alone.
No one stops and no one cares.
They just rush by,
With their
own problems.
As he sits, cold and lonely, in a shadowy corner by the
street.
His eyes start to close.
Afraid to look ahead, he looks
behind.
The loneliness takes control.
He lays to sleep beside her.
She will never wake again, he knows.
And soon, neither will he.
Alone.
