Instructor - College Preparation for Aboriginal Students Program
Aboriginal and Teacher Education is seeking an instructor to teach Aboriginal
students in the College Preparation Program. The instructor must be able to teach
Senior 3 and 4 Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
This position may be assigned program coordinator responsibilities which would
include: reparing timetables, monthly reports, and departmental records; assisting
with budget preparation; ordering supplies and inventory control.
Applicants must possess related post-secondary education with a valid Manitoba
Teachers Certificate and must have related teaching experience.
Experience with Microsoft Office applications is required. Candidates will have
strong communication, interpersonal, organizational and presentation skills.
The ability to work cooperatively with college staff is essential.
Experience teaching adult Aboriginal students as well as experience working with
Aboriginal communities would be definite assets.
Preference will be given to candidates of Aboriginal ancestry.
