Grain Commodity Accounting

N. M. Paterson & Sons Limited buys grains, oil seeds, special crops, and sells fertilizer, chemicals and farm services through an efficient network of elevators and terminals in Western Canada. This growing customer oriented organization is seeking a motivated person to fill a position in its Grain Head Office in our grain Accounting Department.

The position will report to the controller and be responsible for the preparation and analysis of commodity position reports and monthly commodity financial statements. We are seeking a hands on individual (min. 4^th level CMA or CGA) who has the ability to supervise a relatively small, but dedicated group of employees. The individual must possess strong analytical skills and have the ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people. Experience working in the grain industry is regarded as a definite asset, but is not essential provided other skills and experience compensate for a lack of grain industry experience.
