Coon Come actually did speak out in support of the First Nations Governance Institute in early May, via press conference in B.C. This has been widely reported on. However...
If his statements were a reversal of his previous stance, then I should have reported it as such.
I'll take the hit, you sunk my battleship.
: One thing that the observer didnt' mention (or didn't know) is that the creation of the institute was brought about through the Gathering Strength initiative. Who opposed and spoke out against Gathering Strength?? Matthew Coon Come. But you knew that right Dan? Didn't you write something about who opposed Gathering Strength way back when?
: Come on now, LeMol how can you speak out and rail against something on one day and then be reported as being it's champion the next??? Even if it was bad reporting, it's still a stretch to put out a 360 degree spin on it.
