I would like to be in touch with residential school survivors. In order that we may keep in touch with what is happening to our potential litigation, I think it's time for us to unite and start speaking for ourselves more.
How do you feel about this?
I am a survivor from the St. Joseph's Indian Industrial School for Indian Girls, otherwise known as Spanish residential school.
Last time I spoke to a lawyers assistant, she did not know the official name.
Hope to hear from you.
I understand that it is sometimes a painful and difficult subject for some of us. You are not alone anymore.
I, too once felt so alone and I had no one to talk to because, I am one of the ones who never returned to my Objiway people. From the residential school I was placed into foster care, and believe me they were not good houses to be in.
So now, I am looking to connect with you, maybe just to find how you are doing and perhaps you can tell what the greatest obstacle you had to overcome.
