The AIDS Committee of Toronto (ACT) is a community-based non-profit organization founded in 1983 by volunteers. Through that steadfast commitment and talents of our generous volunteers, we provide health promotion, support, education, and advocacy for people living with and/or affected by HIV/AIDS.

Executive Director

As our senior executive, you have past experience leading a comparably sized agency or program/project. You have knowledge of and/or practical experience with HIV/AIDS-related issues and a personal commitment to social justice. You have demonstrated exceptional strength in external relations including building and sustaining collaborative relations with stakeholders, other agencies, governments, donors, and the media.

You will be comfortable working in a collegial, unionized environment, with a Policy Governance Board, and among the diversity of people who have built, nourished, and benefited from ACT. You demonstrate both passion and vision for the fight against HIV/AIDS. You have preparation at the Master's level in a relevant field or comparable experience.
