THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF DRYDEN IS SEEKING A:

Telephone Technician Class 1

The successful applicant will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, installing and servicing Outside Plant telecommunications equipment, including line construction work, splicing cable and/or cable repair would be an asset.

Qualifications include:
• A High School Diploma
• Diploma from a recognized technical school in a relevant field or equivalent
• Minimum of five (5) years experience in telephone field
• Must have and maintain a valid Class "D" drivers license

OR

Telephone Technician Apprentice


The successful applicant will receive training and progress through the apprenticeship process as per the current collective agreement.

Qualifications include:
• A High School Diploma
• Must have and maintain a valid Class "D" drivers license
• AC/DC electrical training would be an asset

Salary and Benefits for either position will commensurate with the current collective agreement. Applications for either position will be received up to and including Thursday February 7th, 2003.
