The Mississaugas of The New Credit First Nation
is now accepting applications:

For a “Community Health Nurse” to oversee and carry out a Community Health Program for the membership of the Mississaugas of The New Credit First Nation people and assist in identifying the needs for effective community health services will be received by the Administration up until 4:00 p.m., November 13, 2002.

Basic Qualifications:
· Must have a B.Sc.N. in Nursing or a Registered Nurses Diploma with 1 year experience in an acute care setting.
· A Diploma or Certificate in Community Health or must be willing to obtain one.
· A minimum of one (1) year experience working with a First Nation is an asset.
· A valid Registered Nurse who is in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario at the time of hiring.
· A valid registered member in good standing with the Registered Nurses’ Association of Ontario at the time of hiring.
· A current CPR Certification.
· A valid drivers license.
· A membership with the Aboriginal Nurses Association of Canada an asset.

Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.

All applicants must submit a covering letter, recent Resume, proof of registration with College of Nurses of Ontario, proof of registration with Registered Nurses Association of Ontario and CPR
