On the contrary, Horse Plude is an Indian name that has been bestowed upon me by several Indian ladies in Indian country who have thoroughly enjoyed my company. I find the name self-gratifying rather than self-depreciating. I am very honoured to have the name.
As far as the censoring is concerned, I agree totally with you. Indian people should enjoy the freedom to express themselves as they choose.
That freedom should not be affected by those individuals who live by white standards of morality. A morality based on power over Indian lands, resources and people. A morality based on raping and torturing Mother Earth. A morality based on white greed.
A morality based on controlling the thoughts of Indian people.

Anyways, thanks for the support.

Yours truly,
Horse Plude.

: In native culture and especially a tribal gatherings a person had a right to say what he/she had on their mind. NO ONE WAS ABOVE CRITICISM.
: If someone calls themselves by a self depreciating name, such as "Horse Plude", then I don't think you guys have the right to act like white people and censor any criticism of that name.
: Too many "aboriginal sites" are doing this censoring bit.
: Who are you trying to impress but doing that?
