Essential Criteria:
Accounting certification ( CA, CGA, or CMA) plus qualified years of experience. Experience monitoring and performing financial audits. Experience analyzing and evaluating financial and administrative systems and procedures. Experience developing financial policies and procedures. Experience in developing Business Plans. Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Office and computerised accounting systems. Demonstrated strong organisational and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently, Manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.

Duties:
Under the direction of the Director, this position will develop a sound financial management system for the department including financial policies and procedures. This position will provide advice and recommendations for the development of appropriate municipal accounting systems for Aboriginal and Northern Affairs Communities. This position administers community audit contractual requirements and obligations.
