Roseau River Election (s)??

Will Derek Cassidy call for another election in another six months if he doesn't get what he wants from the "current" chief and council? Maybe if he doesn't get the right answer in a year's time, will he ask the "general membership" again to hold ANOTHER election? The general membership or Custom Council is a group of tribal members who go to monthly meetings for an "honorarium", who don't hold regular family meetings to report or get consent for such major decisions like amending the "Election Act".

Derek's definition of "general membership" is a group of ten or so people, he happens to run into at the band office.

This whole issue is an embarrassment to the tribal members of Roseau River Anishinabe Nation.
