The incumbent shall provide supervision and staff development to Child
Guidance Clinic staff members and will facilitate and supervise the delivery
of inter-disciplinary services to schools in the Inner City District. The
individual will assist in the identification of needs and resources in the
area and the development of service delivery programs and will also assist
in administrative responsibilities.
The successful applicant must qualify for certification by Manitoba
Education as a school clinician in either Psychology, Reading, Social Work
or Speech and Hearing. Prior related experience in supervision and
excellent communication skills are necessary. Demonstrated knowledge
of Aboriginal Culture is essential and the ability to speak an Aboriginal
language would be an asset.
