COMMUNITY LIAISON SPECIALIST
(Non=Permanent 2 Years)

    Alberta Pacific requires a Community Liaison Specialist to manage the community liaison office
    located in Wabasca. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

    • Maintaining contact with the Alberta-Pacific millsite office on a daily basis.
    • Identify and communicate employment and contract opportunities in the following commodities:
        Calling Lake, Wabasca, Trout Lake, Peerless Lake and Chipewyan Lake
    • Assisting Al-Pac Coordinators to effectively utilize local labor and contractors in all aspects of
      Woodlands Operations activities in the Pacific region of the Forest Management Area.
    • Assist Al-Pac Operations Coordinators with preparation and presentation of Operations
      Activities and up-coming opportunities ay all community-based meetings.
    • Coordinate the Community Investment Database and prepare monthly, quarterly and annual
      reports for Woodlands Management and Corporate Executive.
    The successful candidate should be a self-starter with excellent communications skills, both written
    and oral. A minimum of 5 years related work experience in Woodlands Operations and a good
    understanding of Northern Regional and local socio-economic circumstances are definitely assets.
