So, the federal government is in deep shit over conflict of interest, patronage, corruption... confirming the worst kept secret in this country: that the federal government is just as corrupt as some of the first nations band governments they are trying to clean up. As is every government in this country, to some degree.
But chiefs (and here I'm not addressing the good, just chiefs out there, just the corrupt ones) don't bother offering federal corruption as an excuse for your own misdeeds.
It's time the lot of you - the feds, the provinces, and yes, the shady chiefs - clean up your act, answer to your people.
White collar crooks, red collar crooks, stand down, or get taken down.
